All gave some, some gave all. In the matter of the 1943 NCAA Men’s Basketball season, top-ranked Illinois had to decline to participate in the NCAA and NIT Championship Tournaments, as three of its starters had enlisted to serve in World War II. With the prestigious Madison Square garden hosting the NCAA tourney for the first time, Wyoming bested Georgetown for the title. This program was issued in Midtown Manhattan for that War era hoops tilt. With crease-free covers and pages intact throughout, the rare guide presents minimally (EX-MT). The roster/scorecard pages have been marked on site in graphite pencil to detail the 46-34 Wyoming victory.
