With a line-up of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman and Martian Manhunter, you couldn't possibly go wrong. In fact when these super-heroes were teamed in the pages of "The Brave and the Bold" issues #28, #29 and #30 in the Spring and Summer of 1960, so much went right that the "Justice League of America" series was launched in 10-11/60. Presented is a new to the market JLA #1 inaugural issue, recently graded (7.0) by CGC. This desirable better grade is good for a CGC Census rank of "1/42" at this level, with 69 higher out of a considerable Universal Grade population total of 978, putting it firmly in the top 15% of CGC graded examples. Label notations include "Off-White Pages, Gardner Fox story, Mike Sekowsky and Bernard Sachs art, Murphy Anderson cover, Origin and 1st appearance of Despero, Letter from Roy Thomas". Started well below "fair market value", this very respectable example positions as a must for advanced comic collectors.
