A mainstay honored with a retired uniform number at the University of Kentucky, Kenny “Sky” Walker was selected in the opening round of the 1986 NBA Draft and subsequently won the 1989 Slam Dunk contest before injuries forced him to join Spain’s Copa Catalunya league. Having toiled for three teams overseas, Walker returned to the NBA for the 1993-94 season, where he wore and autographed this Washington Bullets jersey. The blue mesh pullover garment features a red-and-white stripe pattern on the front, where “bullets” is sewn in blue twill. In red-on-white twill, “15” is sewn to the front and back, while “WALKER” is arched atop the back number in solid white block-style twill. On the right front of the white panel, Walkers has signed in black marker (“6” strength) and inscribed “#15.” An NBA silhouette logo is embroidered to the left shoulder stirrup, while the tapered left front tail is home to dual “Champion” tags that include a size “44” label and a “BODY LENGTH +3” exclusivity tag. Moderate wear is evident with minimal puckering about the twill components. Auction LOA from JSA (for autograph)
