Very scarce 1952 Globe Printing San Diego Padres near team set of (17/18) cards. This regional black-and-white issue pictures members of the PCL squad in a ballpark setting. The overall condition breakdown is as follows: 12% (EX), 35% (VG-EX), 18% (VG) and 35% (FR or lesser, due to reverse residue or writing). Highlights include: O’Doul (FR, Seated, Light Background, reverse writing) and Reese (VG). Missing only the O’Doul (Standing, Dark Background) variation for completion. Also present is an undated Jimmie Reese Padres Type card (EX).
