Showcasing an amateur roster that included Mark McGwire, Barry Larkin and B.J. Surhoff, the 1984 USA Olympic Baseball team advanced all the way to the championship game in the Summer Games held in Los Angeles. This jacket was issued for that memorable run. The white satin-like button-down garment features “USA” arched atop the back in red twill with blue-and-white embroidery. The left breast is home to a “USA” logo patch with a “GE” embroidered emblem. There are two front pockets, while red-white-and-blue striped stretch ribbed knit lines the collar, waistline and sleeve endings. Within the quilt-lined collar, a size “MEDIUM” flap tag is accompanied by a “GE” label that reads: “Made Especially for the U.S. Amateur Baseball Team.” Minimal wear is evident.
