These absolutely beautiful, high-quality, artistically designed postcards hail from a period when Japanese teams would play against U.S. university teams both at home and abroad. They feature Japanese-language characters and display EX condition overall, with 4 of the 5 having elegant "Union Postale Universelle" reverses. Includes: 1) Osaka Mainichi team photo; 2) Keio team photo; 3) Action scene with background banner reading "Welcome Wisconsin"; 4-5) Pair of full-length portraits of American collegiate ballplayers (one with horizontal crease at top).
