During the early 1940s, no one –  not even Superman! – could rival the comic book heroism of Captain Marvel. Presented here are three high-grade examples of die-cut novelties produced during Captain Marvel's Fawcett Publications period. All are complete, unpunched and unused, barely circulated representatives of their appealing genre, and all retain extremely fresh, brightly colored exterior envelopes measuring approximately 7" x 10".

1940s Captain Marvel Picture Puzzle No. 1 "One Against Many" - contains 6-3/4" x 9-3/8" thick-cardboard puzzle board;

1940s Captain Marvel, Jr. in Ski Jump - contains one thin-cardboard, die-cut panel containing "skiing" figure, plus one smaller, thick-cardboard base/ski panel;

1944 Flying Captain Marvel - contains one thin-cardboard, die-cut panel containing "flying" figure.
