For much of the early 1950s, the smiling face of Howdy Doody was one of America's favorite images. Royal Desserts enjoyed Howdy's endorsement during this period, and his likeness appeared on a number of the brand's products. Offered here are three unopened Royal boxes featuring different designs, each one carrying the likeness of Howdy Doody and each one still sealed just as it once sat in a grocer's display. Includes: Strawberry Cream Instant Pudding (3-3/8" x 4-1/8" x 1-1/8"), Chocolate Instant Pudding (3-3/8" x 4-1/8" x 1-1/8") and Chocolate Pudding (3-1/2" x 2-3/4" x 1-1/8"). The cardboard containers concede generally mild shelf wear with a few additional faults, and present favorably.
