Diamonds are always in fashion – and so are the uniforms worn on them! These (3) 1920s-1940s baseball jerseys display fabrics and designs of the past. Includes:

Satin Jersey: a gray satin button-down garment with red sleeves and a gray cotton lining. Within the collar, a “Southern” label denotes size “38.” All original with its five original red buttons, the jersey shows solid use with stains (perhaps tobacco?) down the front. The original shine remains!

Flannel Jersey: a vintage olive-toned flannel button-down garment with half-sleeves and a green pinstripe pattern. Within the solid green collar, a “Spalding” label is accompanied by a handwritten notation of “40.” Moderate wear is evident.

Yankees Replica Jersey: a vintage cream-colored flannel button-down garment with a blue pinstripe pattern and the interlocking “NY” logo sewn to the left breast in blue felt. On the back, Joe DiMaggio’s number “5” is sewn on blue felt. On the left-side button path, a “Wilson” label denotes size “40.” There are six holes (as tailored) under each arm to facilitate ventilation. Moderate wear.
