1942 World’s Funniest Football Game: issued at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, this eight-page guide lists the participants and images of combatants in a U.S.O. charity game. Billed as the “Leading Men” vs. “Comedians,” the rosters include Lon Chaney, Jr. (quarterback), Jimmy Durante, Buster Keaton, Anthony Quinn, Cesar Romero and John Wayne (captain).
