Having moved from Braves Field to Fenway Park, the NFL’s Boston Braves changed their name to “Redskins” in 1933. Despite both the moniker and venue changes, the club’s on-field fortunes were unchanged as it authored its second of three successive .500 finishes. October 22 vs. Chicago Cardinals: issued at Fenway Park, the eight-page program presents minimally at the (VG-EX) plateau with covers/pages intact and a handwritten numeric notation on the front cover. The hosts blanked the Cards, 10-0 that day.

October 29 vs. Pittsburgh Pirates: issued at Fenway Park, the eight-page guide presents minimally at the (VG-EX) level with crease-free covers/pages intact. There is a small instance of separation on the upper portion of the spine. The “Skins were felled, 16-14 in this contest.

November 5 vs. Chicago Bears: issued at Fenway Park for a 10-0 whitewashing of eventual NFL champion Chicago, this eight-page publication presents (VG-EX) with covers/pages intact. There is a hint of a vertical compacting fold, as well as a minute instance of paper loss on the front cover.

November 12 at New York Giants: issued at the Polo Grounds, the eight-page guide presents (VG-EX) with covers/pages intact. The ‘Skins suffered a 7-0 loss that day. Of the club’s five losses that season, four were shutouts.

December 3 at Chicago Cardinals: issued at Wrigley Field, the thick stock two-page scorecard is free of creases or compacting folds (inherent to most stadium-issued publications of this era). There are handwritten notations on the front cover and interior rosters. The season finale ended in a 0-0 deadlock.
