A London-born player turned sporting goods magnate, A.J. Reach ended his five-year Philadelphia Athletics career with exactly zero home runs, yet went on to be one of the most influential figures in the baseball equipment world, as his was the name used on American League baseballs until 1976. These 1910s baseball bats were turned by Reach’s Philadelphia-based plant. Each features a Hornsby-style knob and has the Reach name on the center brand. Includes:

No. 83: 35” model with excessive use in the form of surface and cleat marks throughout, as well as grain swelling about the hitting surface

No. 1/0: 34-1/2” model showing heavy use with a 9” layer of vintage athletic tape on the handle

No. 3/0: 34” model showing heavy use with surface marks, grain swelling and checking about the barrel, as well as a 13-1/4” layer of tape on the handle
