In complete control under the most intense pressure, Tiger Woods was undeterred by an ailing left knee and prevailed in a sudden death playoff to win the 2008 U.S. Open – his 14th and last major triumph. With strokes matching the perfection of those of Woods, artist Malcolm Farley composed this “Drama On 18” giclee on canvas, which was subsequently autographed by both subject and creator. Affixed to a wooden frame measuring 29x45”, the textured canvas is home to a myriad of brilliant colors which miraculously combine to show the course, its trees and the gallery, with Woods in the foreground on the putting green. Appropriately, Woods appears to be the only image in focus. The limited edition (6/25) piece is signed by Woods in gold-colored marker (“9-10” strength) and inscribed “08 US Open Champion.” Farley has signed in gold-colored marker (“10” strength) as well. Accompanying is a UDA cert and hologram.
